Burnout - where to begin
Sometimes facing up to the fact you have burnout can be very hard indeed.
So our head goose Sonia has written a short workbook
Ten lessons each followed by some reflection questions
To read through it - around an hour maybe
To complete it - perhaps 15 minutes a day for ten days.
What the workbook is not for
- detail on signs, symptoms or tips for reversing burnout - there are plenty of these on the internet .....but the trouble is they are all either too superficial and don't start where people need to start. We have a 12 week video course that covers more detail about burnout and how to face it.
What the workbook IS for
- bring the focus onto burnout and why it is hard to tackle and the pitfalls or misconceptions there can be surrounding it
This workbook and the thinking /reflection it can catalyse is a marvellous preparation for entering into any burnout discussion whether this is with your GP or with a Burnout Geese guide. It means you go into that discussion with a slightly broader view of burnout.
The burnout test you may already have done is also part of understanding burnout better and it is this gaining knowledge about what burnout is and what it is is not that helps a person find their own ways out of it.
There are three options....
