Dr Sonia Hutton-Taylor - began her medical career as an ophthalmologist but soon diverted into a unique and independent direction - at the junction of career guidance, occupational health and medical education. The wellbeing - burnout continuum is her passion.
In 1990 she established an independent medical career support service for doctors … the first of its kind running continuously for over 30 years. It is highly specialised form of coaching before coaching was the buzz word it is today. Loves doing any course (literally - concrete basements anyone?). |
Dr Chris Manning - GP and mental health activist - he has spearheaded a number of mental health initiatives over the past 25 years relating to both doctors and patients - starting with Stress Factory in 1992 and was a founder member of the Doctors Support Network. Chris is an uncontainable blue sky thinker, activist, networker and mental wellbeing pioneer.
Watch the video he presents on wellbeing in general. |
Dr Alan Muir - occupational health physician; 10 years early career in the RAF working on practical applications of research in physiology within extreme environments and related accident investigation. Joined the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (MFOM) in 1985 & has worked in varied industries (manufacturing, NHS / public/ private sectors ( Australia, Eire & UK).
He is skilled in complex medical and psychological conditions affecting employee performance /attendance - resolving those issues by working with individuals & their managers. |
Extended team - a network of geese friendly advisers in fields (trees and lakes too!) such as employment law, HR, therapy and coaching. We do not routinely involve them but in complicated situations it is great to be able to ask the gaggle.
Our fave advisor is Bernie the burnout goose - who is full of useful tips and tricks to aid burnout resolution. And we partner with a glamping site in Wales for our biannual retreats. |
