A few steps towards a life without burnout
Imagine a steady path out of burnout - easy to follow steps... tailored to you. But.....
It is not what you might expect...There is no "just take a yoga class". "you must eat better", "go to bed earlier" anywhere in sight. No "do more exercise" when you are already deeply exhausted.
What does NOT work? Tinkering at the edges of burnout with these platitudes is akin to sticking plasters on a broken bone. And when the plasters on your burnout don't work ...it is very demoralising and may entrench burnout deeper than before.
Our approach to burnout is more profound and is focused on steady incremental learning. With30+ years experience of understanding burnout we know that a greater awareness of how it has arisen, how it is affecting you & more....is the key to resuming life without burnout.
Your steps will be different to anyone else's. So we can't tell you at this stage what YOUR essential steps will be.
But the first step is the same for everyone....the test.
The test gives a baseline - a simple score indicating the presence and the level of burnout which in turn suggests what actions may be needed next.
The steps ....you may not need all 15 ( few do). Some steps are under 5 minutes ( shorter ones at the start as we know burnt out folk are TIRED!!) . We build up slowly. It is not coaching per se - not therapy either....we focus primarily on learning.
And after the test - you can just use the score for your own interest or... you can continue your journey out of burnout with the Burnout Geese gaggle. Just share your score with us at the end of the test if you would like to hear from the geese again.
